Keynote Address by Mary Grace Herrington
CEO
of Iowa Public Radio “How Community Prevented this Latchkey Kid from Falling Through
the Cracks”
 Young
Women of Achievement Keynote Speaker Mary Grace Herrington has served as CEO of
Iowa Public Radio since 2009, serving before that as Vice President at Creighton
University in Omaha. Herrington will share her journey to leadership, including
details about her childhood, which included her parent’s divorce, her mom’s devastating
medical diagnosis and considerable financial strain. Learn how a community of
people and programs who mentored Herrington as a child made a world of difference
in her life. And learn how you can lend your support to at-risk youths today.
